About Hope for Tribes
Hope for Tribes is a ministry born of the idea that every student deserves the chance to work and build a life free from exploitation and poverty. Our ministry offers hill tribe young people the chance to complete their education and grow in their Christian life through Bible studies. Our goal is to see students using their university degree to enhance their lives and the development of their villages.

Students receive Bible instruction, learn what it means to live a Christian life, and explore topics and issues faced by young people in today’s world.
Personal & Professional Development
Students participate in English language studies, music classes, life skills, education, wood-working, hammock weaving, and hand crafts.
Fellowship & Fun
Students engage in fun activities - games, soccer matches, and cooking nights. Students also spend time sharing what they’ve learned by volunteering in neighboring villages.

Our students live onsite and learn, work and worship together, build trust in each other and God, strengthening their commitment to community success, and supporting each other’s achievements and goals.
